May 19, 2026 - A high-level delegation of RMA (Cambodia) Plc., led by CEO Ngorn Saing, paid a courtesy call and held a working discussion with H.E. Chanthol Sun, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).
During the meeting, Mr. Saing provided an update on the company’s business progress and exchanged views on investment opportunities and feasibility in the water transport manufacturing industry in Cambodia, with the participation of Mr. Willem Hendrik (Pim) Schuurman, Director of Asia Pacific Investment and Government Relations, Damen Shipyards Group, a European business partner specializing in this sector.
In response, H.E. Sun Chanthol warmly welcomed the delegation and highly appreciated the trust placed in Cambodia's investment climate by RMA Cambodia and its international partner. He also shared key information relevant to investment decision-making, including the current capacity of inland water transport and maritime logistics, plans for deep-sea port expansion, progress on the Funan Techo Canal project, and the Investment Law of Cambodia, which provides strong incentives for private sector investment.
The meeting reflected stronger cooperation and RMA Cambodia’s continued role in supporting industrial development and improving Cambodia’s logistics and connectivity.
