
Air Conditioning (A/C) :
- Test the A/C system early in the season & The cooling performance
- If necessary, Clean the system internally & Externally at the authorized dealers
- Ensure the A/C filter is clean
Cooling System :
- Check coolant levels regularly
- Inspect hoses for cracks, leaks, or swelling
- Ensure the radiator is clean and free of debris
- Have the cooling system flushed and refilled according to the manufacturer's recommendations
Tires :
- Heat increases tire pressure, so check tire pressure regularly, especially before long trips.
- Inspect tires for wear and tear, including sidewall damage.
- Ensure proper wheel alignment & Tire balancing
Battery :
- Heat can cause battery fluid to evaporate, leading to premature failure
- Check battery terminals for corrosion and clean them as needed
- Have the battery tested to ensure it's in good condition
Brake :
- Brake systems work harder in hot weather
- Inspect brake pads, rotors, and brake fluid
- Ensure the parking brake is functioning correctly
Avoid Peak Heat :
- If possible, avoid driving during the hottest parts of the day
- Monitor your vehicle's temperature gauge and pull over if it starts to overheat
- Use a sunshade to protect the dashboard and seats from excessive heat
